PhilKeep watching this it's going to be different class! We're going to learn four phrases with 'class'. Spoiler alert they all mean 'good'! If we say something or someone is in a different class, then they're really good. They're better than everything else. That restaurant is just in a different class. It's just so good! A similar phrase is to say that someone or something is in a class of their own. They're so good that there's nothing like them. As a tennis player, she's in a class of her own. No one else even comes close. Someone who does things really well is a class act. We use it when we're really impressed with them. That pianist really is a class act. I've never seen someone play so well. Something or someone that is world class is one of the best in the world. We're building a world-class research lab. It's one of the best anywhere.
