PhilYou ready? Say cheese! Let's learn four phrases with 'say'. Something says a lot about someone if it shows you what they're really like it's often the way someone behaves. The way he ignored my email says a lot about him. You have your say when you get to give your opinion about something. I want to give everyone a chance to have their say at the end of the meeting. Now, if you're someone who likes to give your opinion all the time, you have a lot to say for yourself, especially if people think you do it too much. That new manager has got a lot to say for himself, but I don't think his ideas are all that good. We use to say the least to say that something is actually even worse than we've said it's a way to emphasise something. The painting is unusual, to say the least. OK. I've had my say. You should practise these phrases now!
